The Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Pablo("Agency") is taking steps towards the adoption of the
Redevelopment Plan for the Legacy Redevelopment Project("Redevelopment Plan"), pursuant to California
Community Redevelopment Law("CCRL")(Health and Safety Code Sections 33000 et sec ). Pursuant to
Section 33328 of the CCRL,the Contra Costa County Auditor-Controller and the State Board of Equalization
provided the Agency a base year report using the 1995-96 equalized assessment roll. Because the Agency
anticipates that adoption of the Redevelopment Plan will occur after August 20, 1996, the Agency is
requesting preparation of a second Base Year Report based on the 1996-97 equalized assessment roll as
provided by CCRL Sections 33328 and 33328.5. The Agency is not requesting assessed valuations for the
preceding five years.
Enclosed, please find the legal description(Exhibit A)of the proposed Legacy Redevelopment Project Area
("Project Area"). Please note that there have not been any changes to the Project Area boundaries.
Therefore, the Project Area map is not enclosed.
Pursuant to CCRL Section 33352(n)(1), the Agency is also inviting affected taxing entities to consult with
the Agency regarding the proposed Redevelopment Plan adoption. Please contact me if you wish to discuss
these matters.
