The Task Force has been recruiting and has one individual to recommend for appointment at this time. She is Patricia Nash, who supervises the Child Care Unit for the Social Service Department. She would be appropriate for appointment to the Child Care Expert category. At its meeting on June 26, 1996, the Child Care Task Force unanimously recommended Ms. Nash's appointment to the Task Force. We are, therefore, pleased to join in recommending her appointment. Our focus is helping welfare clients become self-efficient. Why Do You Want To Be A Member of the Child Care Task Force? � l I would like to be able to share the perspective of my agency with the Childcare Task Force, where policy decisions are being made in this county regarding childcare. I also would value the information I would receive from the sharing of others to take back 'to the • decision makers in my agency. If selected, what might you contribute to the Task Force? I could contribute any information I may have on welfare reform and issues regarding childcare. I could also keep the Task Force informed of Social Service Department changes and how they may affect the childcare community.
