FINANCIAL IMPACT: The estimated project cost is approximately $ 250,000.00, funded by SB 300 (5%), Redevelopment Funds (30%), CDBG Grant (5%), Bay Point AOB (30%), Keller Canyon Mitigation Fees (30%). The final percentages may vary slightly. III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND: The project includes installing a storm drain and inlets, widening to provide frontage improvements including curb, gutter, and sidewalk, and overlaying the road with asphalt concrete. It is needed to improve drainage and provide frontage improvements. The project has been determined to be in compliance with the General Plan because it consists of minor alterations of existing public facilities involving no expansion of use per Section 15301 of the CEQA Guidelines. IV. CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION: Delay in approving the project will result in a delay of design and construction and may jeopardize funding.
