HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09121995 - C31 e. 31 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on September 12, 1995 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Smith, DeSaulnier, Torlakson and Bishop NOES: None ABSENT: Supervisor Rogers ABSTAIN: None SUBJECT: Granting Permission to Completely Close a Portion of Laurel Road, Oakley Area for the Purpose of installing underground water and storm drain pipes. IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that permission is granted to the D.S.S. Company to completely close except for emergency traffic Laurel Road from Rose Avenue to O'Hara Avenue for eight days from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. for the period of September 12, 1995 through October 31, 1995 for the purpose of installing underground water and storm drain pipes subject to the following conditions: 1. Traffic will be detoured via neighboring streets. 2. All signing to be in accordance with the State of California Manual of Traffic Controls. 3. The D.S.S. Company shall comply with the requirements of the Ordinance Code of Contra Costa County. 4. Have on file with the County a Certificate of Insurance in the amount of$500,000 for Comprehensive General Public Liability which names the County as an additional insured. 5. Obtain approval for the closure from the Sheriff's Department, the California Highway Patrol and the Fire District.
