Total payment shall not exceed $40, 000. 00. B. AUTHORIZE the Executive Director or his Designee to sign the contract on behalf of the Redevelopment Agency. C. AUTHORIZE payments to be made pursuant to "Payment Provision" of said contract. FISCAL IMPACT Payment of $35, 088. 00, plus the cost of installing an air monitoring system for the duration of the demolition work to be made from the North Richmond Senior Housing Project fund. The homes have been vacated so that the sites can be cleared prior to construction. The Redevelopment Agency solicited bids from 12 demolition contractors to have the work completed. Allstate Excavating & Demolition was the low bidder at $35, 088. 00, plus the cost of installing an air monitoring system which is required as part of the abatement and demolition process. Consequences of Negative Action: Failure to have the sites cleared prior to construction could cause project delays.
