Its charge is to advise and make policy recommendations to the Board on issues related to the management of hazardous materials and wastes within the County. The,Operations Committee oversees the Commission's organizational business, county department programs and management, and public education and communication issues. The Planning and Policy Development Committee focuses on other long-term policy and planning issues. The Commission developed the attached mission statement based on its work and experience over the last nine years, and to guide it in the future. FLSCAL IMPACT: None.
