Hon. Gayle Bishop C
Chair, Contra Costa County
Board of Supervisors
651 Pine Street, 4th Floor, North Wing
Martinez, CA 94553-1296
Dear Supervisor Bishop:
Thank you for letting me know of the board's support for AB 368 (Speier) regarding
emergency shelters. I have not yet had an opportunity to vote on the measure. However, at
this point in time, I tend to support the bill.
Because of legislative deadlines, AB 368 is currently being held in the Assembly
Housing and Community Development Committee of which I am a member. AB 368 may
not be moved until the next legislative session in January 1996. When I have an opportunity
to vote on AB 368, I will carefully examine the measure to see if there have been any
significant changes in it since you wrote. I will keep your position in mind as I decide how
to cast my vote.
Once again, thank you for contacting me. I hope you will continue to let me know
about concerns you might have.
Sincere
-" ROBERT J. CAMPBELL
