The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors RESOLVES THAT:
Effective May 1, 1995 the side letter (copy attached and included as part of their document), jointly
signed by representatives of Local 535 and Contra Costa County regarding a five percent (5%)
differential for employees in the class of Medical Social Worker I1 who are designated as "Lead
Workers".

Dear Ms. Watson:
This letter is to confirm agreement between the County and Local #535 regarding permanent
employees in the class of Medical Social Worker 11 who are designated as "Lead Workers".
Employees who are assigned to function as "Lead Workers" shall be paid a differential of five
percent (5%) of base pay as compensation for this assignment.
If the foregoing conforms to your understanding, please indicate your approval and acceptance
in the space provided below.
