The Medi-Cal Advisory Planning Commission has recruited for these
vacancies and has recommended that Janiece S. Nolan be appointed to
the vacant "community hospital representative" seat and that
Rosalind Marie Love be appointed to the vacant "beneficiary and
member at-large" seat.
We had the opportunity to interview both Ms . Nolan and Ms . Love on
September 19, 1994 . Ms . Nolan, who is the Chief Operating Officer
of John Muir Medical Center, is extraordinarily well qualified and
will bring an important private sector perspective to the
deliberations of the Commission. Ms . Love is a concerned citizen
who is involved in helping to educate our children in the Pittsburg
Unified School District and is involved in trying to provide the
children in Pittsburg with alternatives and reasons not to get
involved with drugs . She is very dedicated and will bring an
important contact with youth to the work of the Commission.
We believe that both Ms . Nolan and Ms . Love are well qualified and
will add important voices to the Medi-Cal Advisory Planning
Commission. It is our pleasure to recommend their appointment to
the Commission.
