One of the three "community hospital representative" seats is vacant and one of the five "beneficiaries and members at-large" seats is vacant. The Medi-Cal Advisory Planning Commission is responsible for assuring provider, consumer, and community input into the planning for the County-sponsored local initiative Medi-Cal managed care system in Contra Costa County. Nolan Rosalind Marie Love RV {� DEPUTY I .O.-4 The Medi-Cal Advisory Planning Commission has recruited for these vacancies and has recommended that Janiece S. Nolan be appointed to the vacant "community hospital representative" seat and that Rosalind Marie Love be appointed to the vacant "beneficiary and member at-large" seat. We had the opportunity to interview both Ms . Nolan and Ms . Love on September 19, 1994 . Ms . Nolan, who is the Chief Operating Officer of John Muir Medical Center, is extraordinarily well qualified and will bring an important private sector perspective to the deliberations of the Commission. Ms . Love is a concerned citizen who is involved in helping to educate our children in the Pittsburg Unified School District and is involved in trying to provide the children in Pittsburg with alternatives and reasons not to get involved with drugs . She is very dedicated and will bring an important contact with youth to the work of the Commission. We believe that both Ms . Nolan and Ms . Love are well qualified and will add important voices to the Medi-Cal Advisory Planning Commission.
