Additionally, Norcross Lane and O'Hara Avenue will be extended to connect with the new location of State Route 4. More recently, OMAC revisited the issue of State Route 4 and stated a preference for widening State Route 4 within its current alignment. The Environmental Impact Report to be prepared will be an opportunity to more fully analyze the impacts of the two alternatives. Additional components of the Plan include providing housing adjacent to the downtown area, creating a downtown parking district area and parking lot, establishing Urban Design Guidelines, and changing two General Plan Land Use designations. Along with analyzing the impacts of the realignment of State Route 4 and the widening of Main Street, the EIR consultant will analyze subsequent private development actions that might result from the redevelopment activity, and the fiscal impacts of these activities. a:\ed2\oakeir.bo F5.2(a)
