Code §25526.5) SUBJECT: Quitclaim of County Interest in Real Property Project No. 4660-6X4107 CDD-CP# 93-85 Bay Point Area The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: Contra Costa County accepted the following documents: (1) Offer of Dedication of a portion of the area marked Scenic, Slope Maintenance and Trail Easement by Board. Order recorded February 11, 1994, in Book 18270 of Official Records at page 597.(2) Grant Deed of Development Rights recorded October 1, 1986, in Book 13168 of Oficial Records at page 286. The portion of the easement and deed described in Exhibit "X attached hereto is DETERMINED to be surplus and no longer necessary for County or other public purposes and its estimated value does not exceed $10,000.00. Pursuant to Government Code Section 25526.5, the Board hereby APPROVES the quitclaim of said interest to the following grantees: Kenneth J. Wells and Paula J. Wells, as to Parcel 1; Patrick L. Porter and Sandra E. Porter, as to Parcel 2; Elmer B. Grajo, Winnie Grajo, and Conrado Y. Grajo, as to Parcel 3; James E. Zirkelbach and Deborah P. Zirkelbach, as to Parcel 4; and Barry G. Collins and Christine M. Collins, as to Parcel 5. The Board hereby AUTHORIZES the Chair to execute quitclaim deeds on behalf of the County. The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said deeds to be delivered to the grantees. The Board hereby FIELDS that the proposed quitclaim voll not have a significant affect on the environment, that it was determined on December 9, 1993, to be exempt from the- California Environmental Quality Act under State CEQA guidelines Section 15061 (b) (3) and DIRECTS the Director of Community Development to file a Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk and DIRECTS the Public Works Director to arrange for payment of the $25.00 handling fee to the County Clerk for filing of the Notice of Exemption. Project Description, Common Name (if any) and Location: EVORA ROAD - VACATE/QUITCLAIM EXCESS PROPERTY County File #CP 93-85: The purpose of the activity is to: (a) vacate the County's interest in a section of Evora Road (measuring approximately 1,000 square feet or 0.022 acre) and convey that portion to the adjacent property owner; and (b) quitclaim excess slope protection rights (measuring approximately 7,800 square feet or 0.179 acre) to five adjacent property owners. The Transportation Engineering Division of the Public Works Department has determined this portion of roadway unnecessary for present or prospective public use. No new parcel will be created as a result of the vacation or quitclaiming of this portion of the road. The project location is described as follows: Evora Road is located in the central County residential area of Bay Point. The activity will involve Assessor's Parcel Nos. 098-530-025 through 098-530-029.
