Recommended Action: APPROVE Relocation Assistance claim from Donald Carpenter dated August 29, 1994. AUTHORIZE the Principal Real Property Agent to sign said claim on behalf of the District. AUTHORIZE the Auditor-Controller to issue a check in the amount of $705.88 to Northwestern Title Company, 1777 Botelho Drive, Ste 130, Walnut Creek, CA., Escrow No. 1200398. II. Financial Impact: Payment of$705.88 from Contra Costa County Flood Control &Water Conservation District Zone 3B. Reasons for Recommendations and Background: The District acquired property located at 576 Beatrice Road, Pleasant Hill for a future flood control facility. Donald Carpenter was the tenant at the time of the acquisition. He has relocated and is entitled by law to be reimbursed for certain expenses related to his purchase of a replacement dwelling. IV. Consequences of Negative Action: Negative action may result in litigation, appeal and legal exposure and expense for the Flood Control District.
