Having done so, Supervisor Torlakson is now requesting approval by the full Board of the candidates indicated. The resolution adopted also indicated that the initial board would be comprised of three members serving four year terms, and two members serving two year terms . If the members were elected, those serving four and two year terms might be designated by the highest number of votes; however, the community has requested that the Council be appointed at this time. As this is the case, it is suggested that the new Council, at its first meeting, determine which members will serve what length of term by random drawing.
