THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
Adopted this Order on August 16, 1994 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Smith, Bishop, DeSaulnier, Torlakson and Powers
NOES: ;gone
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None
SUBJECT: Granting Permission to Partially Close a Portion of First Avenue in the Crockett
Area, for the Purpose of installing cables for the Crockett Cogenerator.
IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that permission is granted to Pirelli Construction
Services, Inc., to partially close except for emergency traffic First Avenue between Wanda Street
and Ceres Street for the period of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from October 3, 1994, through October
7, 1994, for the purpose of trenching the road to install a 230 KV cable conduit subject to the
following conditions:
1. Traffic will be detoured via neighboring streets as shown in the detour plans.
2. All signing to be in accordance with the State of California Manual of Traffic
Controls.
3. Pirelli Construction Services, Inc., shall comply with the requirements of the
Ordinance Code of Contra Costa County.
4. Have on file with the County a Certificate of Insurance in the amount of$500,000
for Comprehensive General Public Liability which names the County as an
additional insured.
5. Obtain approval for the closure from the Sheriff's Department, the California
Highway Patrol and the Fire District.
