Acting Chief Little has been a regular attendee at Orinda Fire Protection District Commission meetings since April 1993. We have.been very favorable impressed with his administrative ability as well as his knowledge of fire suppression and equipment. Allen Little was faced with a tremendous task when appointed to the position of acting chief upon the retirement of so many chief officers. He has almost singlehandedly held the County fire services together during a period when morale and organization could have deteriorated. It is now time to reward Allen Little for his efforts and appoint him as permanent Chief. We highly recommend him for the position. Sincerely, AJC Charles K. Glynn Secretary CKG:cjl c: Orinda Fire Protection District Commissioners Acting Chief Little
