SUBJECT: Conveyance of County Owned Excess Real Property to
Monte and Lucia Albers
Assessor's Parcel No. 011-190-031
Byron Area
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
Contra Costa County acquired certain real property on September 12, 1986, in the
Byron area, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for road purposes. Said property
is DETERMINED to be surplus and no longer necessary for County or other public
purposes and its estimated value does not exceed $10,000.00.
This Board hereby APPROVES the Real Property Sales Agreement between
Contra Costa County and Monte and Lucia Albers and AUTHORIZES the conveyance
of said property to Monte and Lucia Albers, pursuant to Government Code Section
25526.5; and the Public Works Department is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute said
Agreement. The Board Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute a Quitclaim Deed on
behalf of the County in consideration for the site work referenced in the Real Property
Sales Agreement which represents the estimated fair market value of the property.
The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said Deed to be delivered to the
grantee.
This conveyance request is part of a larger project for which an EIR was prepared an .
environmentally certified by the Board on May 18, 1993. The project has been
determined to conform to the County's General Plan.

Real property in the northeast quarter of Section 34, Township 1 North, Range 3 East,
Mount Diablo Meridian described as follows:
All of that parcel of land described in the deed to Contra Costa County recorded
September 12, 1986 in Volume 13119 at page 178, Official Records of Contra Costa
County, California, further described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of said County parcel (13119 O.R. 178); thence from
the Point of Beginning, along the boundary of said County parcel as follows: (1) north
0°55'26"east 84.29 feet, (2) north 89°34'26"east 175.29 feet, (3) south'0°48'26"west 88.42
feet, and (4) north 89004'34" west 175.42 feet, to the Point of Beginning.
Containing an area of 15,140 square feet (0.348 acre) of land, more or less.
Bearings and distances are based on the California Coordinate System Zone III (C.C.S.
27). Multiply given distances by 1.0000672 to obtain ground distances.
