HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09211993 - MR.1 M.R. 1 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA DATE: September 21, 1993 MATTER OF RECORD The Board of Supervisors, sitting as the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority, and the Advisory Housing Commission met in a joint workshop on Tuesday, September 21, 1993 at 12 : 15 p.m at the Golden Gate Room, George Gordon Center, 500 Court Street, Martinez, California. Richard Martinez, the Executive Director of the Housing Authority, reviewed the new HUD regulations, advised that the Housing Authority of Contra Costa County continues to be recognized for its high performance by HUD; and shared the major goals of the Authority (see attachment A) . Members of the Advisory Housing Commission reported on their various assignments (see attachment B) . Supervisor Powers asked that a one-page write-up on Items 3 b & c listed on the agenda (see attachment B) be prepared for use by the District Offices. During discussion of the need for additional police services for the projects, Supervisor Torlakson requested an incident report for the various projects. Commissioner Brown and Fiscal Director Patti Cross discused the new rules for the budget process. Bernie Bautista, Chair of the Advisory Housing Commission, expressed his appreciation to the Board of Supervisors for taking the time to meet with the Commission, and for its support. I certify that the Housing Authority of the County of Contra Costa will implement project-based accounting and will produce the .fiscal year-end reports required under CFR 990 .315 effective with the fiscal year beginning April 1 , 1993.
