Dehaesus Contra COStaDirector of Planning DATE: September 21, 1983 County 4 SUBJECT: Extension of Time for 2453-RZ andA3038-80, Quail Valley Estates, in the Oakley Area SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION RECOMMENDATION: Grant a second one-year extension of time to commence construction for Quail Valley Estates, as authorized by Planned Unit Development Rezoning 2453-RZ and Final Development Plan 3038-80, thereby extending the expiration date to September 15, 1984. BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION: Ordinance Code 84-66. 1602 provides, in part, that a P-1 District terminates within twelve months after the approval of the Final Development Plan if the construction specified in the plan has not been commenced. Due to the nature of the housing market, construction has been postponed and additional time is warranted for finance, construction and market- ing arrangements to be finalized.
