Honoring the CONTRA COSTA BAR
ASSOCIATION for Sponsoring
'mood from the Be'
the Contra Costa Bar Association has again sponsored a food drive to benefit the
Contra Costa Food Bank. The drive was started last year as a competition between local law firms to
see who could contribute the most food and the most monetary donations;
the 1993"FOOD FROM THE BAR"First Place Winners in their respective
categories are as follows:
McCutchen, Doyle, Brown&Enersen
(51 and over Employees Category)
Gager; McCoy McMahon&Ami strong
(21 to 50 Employees Category)

(West County Law Finn)
WHEREAS,the Contra Costa County Bar Association collected over$15,000 and over 3,500
pounds of food;
the Board of Supervisors wishes to extend their heartiest gratitude to the Bar As- j
sociation for their efforts to battle the issue of hunger in our county. Special appreciation is extended
to Susan McKean and Gil Berkeley for their outstanding leadership in-coordinating this community
event. Their hard work and dedication made this a successful event that will greatly benefit the hungry
citizens of Contra Costa County.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors honors and com-
mends the Contra Costa Bar Association for sponsoring the 1993 '7ood from the Bar'food drive.
1993. PASSED by unanimous vote of the Board Members present on this 21st Day of September,
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of an Order entered on the minutes
of said Board of Supervisors on the date aforesaid.
