RE: Five Percent ) Differential for Storeroom ) Clerks in Materials Mangmt. } Dept. at Merrithew Memorial ) Hospital. } The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors RESOLVES THAT: 1. The 1991-93 Memorandum of. Understanding between the County and Contra Costa County Employees Association, Local No. 1, required that. the County study Storeroom Clerk positions. in the Health Services Department and compare them with the class of Driver Clerk. 2 . The study has been completed and. on September 2, 1993 the Employee Relations Manager submitted a Side Letter. dated August 11, 1993 entered into with Contra Costa County Employees Association, .LocalNo. 1, regarding a 5% pay differential for Storeroom Clerks who drive a commercial size truck with a. gross vehicle weight of over 2.5,000 pounds. 3 . It is agreed that a permanent Storeroom Clerk in the Materiels Management Department will be paid a 5% differential for the entire shift on those days he/she drives the commercial sized truck with a gross vehicle weight of over 25,000 pounds. The assignment of which storeroom Clerk will drive the truck is at the sole discretion of management. This agreement is effective August 1, 1993. If the foregoing conforms to your understanding, please indicate your approval and acceptance in the space provided below.
