TOM POWERS SUPERVISOK FIRST DISTRICT July 29, 1993 To: All Board Members From: Tom Powers, District One Supervisor Re: I-680/24 Highway Improvemerils On July 28, 1993 MTC Board Members approved $71,000,000. in Federal and State funds for the next three phases of the I-680/24 highway improvement project . The funding was for phases 5, 6a and 7 of the project. Under phase 5 Geary Road/TYeat Blvd. to Boyd Road will be widened to five lanes southbound, realignment of N. Main St., modification of N. Main St./ Contra Costa Blvd. Interchange which includes the construction of soundwalls. Phase 6a will relocate the Ygnacio valley off-ramp, realignment of Oakland Blvd., and the construction of an Oakville/Trinity overcrossing. Phase.7 Boyd Road to Willow Pass Road will be widened to five lanes southbound and northbound and Monument Blvd. interchange reconstructed.
