SUBJECT: Declaring Intent to Levy and Collect Assessments for the County Landscape
and Lighting District AD 1979-3 (LL-2), Contra Costa County Area.
Fiscal Year 1993-94.
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa resolves:
The Board of Supervisors declares its intention to levy and collect assessments within
the County Landscape and Lighting District, AD 1979-3 (L>l2), Contra Costa County,
California, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1993 and ending June 30, 1994.
The improvements to be maintained in the year beginning July 1, 1993 and ending
June 30, 1994, are described as follows:
The improvements to be funded through Landscaping and Lighting
Assessment District No. 1979-3 (LL-2), Contra Costa County, California,
consist of the installation,maintenance and servicing of landscaping,irrigation,
lighting (not street lighting except in special cases), park and recreational
related facilities with all appurtenances, and services of consultants as needed.
The lots and parcels to be assessed are generally located in the
unincorporated areas of Contra Costa County in the following zones: Zones
1, 2 and 4 (Lynbrook Subdivisions); Zone 3 (Hickory Meadows Subdivision);
Zones 8 and 15 (Vintage Subdivisions); Zone 9 (West Pittsburg area); Zone
10 (Viewpoints Subdivision); Zone 11 (Hilltop Commons); Zone 13 (Oakley
Ranch Subdivision); Zone 14 (Empire Subdivision); Zone 16 (Shadow Creek
Subdivision); Zone 18 (Pacheco Manor Subdivision); Zone 19 (Hidden Pond
Subdivision); Zone 20- (Oakley Town Center Subdivision); Zone 21
(Kensington area); Zone -22 (Seabreeze Subdivision); Zone 23 (Oakgrove
Subdivision); Zone 24 (Laurel Woods Subdivision); Zone 25 (Orchard View
Subdivisions); Zone 26 (South Forty Subdivision); Zone 27 (Bettencourt
Ranch Subdivisions); Zone 28 (Claremont Subdivision); Zone 32 (Gateway
Subdivisions); Zone 33 (Village Green Subdivision); Zone 36 (Alamo area);
Zone 37 (Clyde area); Zone 38 (Rodeo area); and, Zone 39 (Meadow Glen
Subdivision).
The Public Works Director, has filed with the Clerk of the Board, the Annual Report
required by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. This report contains a full and
detailed description of the improvements, the boundaries of the assessment district, and the
proposed assessments upon assessable lots and parcels of land within the assessment district.
The report has been approved by the Board of Supervisors and is open to public inspection.
