NO. 92-60 BACKGROUND/REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION: On June 2, 1987 the Board of Supervisors authorized the County Administrator to develop a plan to fund additional Police services in the unincorporated areas of Contra Costa County. Subsequent to that decision, various zones within the existing County Service Area P-6 were authorized. According to the ordinances, each July the Board of Supervisors shall determine the amount of taxes to be levied upon the parcels in each zone . That amount is, also according to the ordinances, to be adjusted annually based upon a consumer price index.
