6 for the fiscal year 1993-94, as follows :

Determined by the property use code category (rattached) , the original
Exhibit C, and the Consumer Price Index, as attached or ref*ed to

creating the Zone and authorizing the special tax levy, the property
use code and the original Exhibit C (all as attached or refefred to

BACKGROUND/REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION:
On June 2, 1987 the Board of Supervisors authorized the County
Administrator to develop a plan to fund additional Police services
in the unincorporated areas of Contra Costa County. Subsequent to
that decision, various zones within the existing County Service Area
P-6 were authorized. According to the ordinances, each July the Board
of Supervisors shall determine the amount of taxes to be levied upon
the parcels in each zone . That amount is, also according to the
ordinances, to be adjusted annually based upon a consumer price
index. The above action fixes the tax rate per parcel in the P-6
zones as outlined in their respective ordinances .
