processing telecommunications services requests is
charged out to customer departments . If she did not
provide these services, they would have to be done by
technicians, which would result in delays in processing
orders, as well as delays in performing other technical
repair and service work needed by departments. The
volume of telecommunications services requests continues
to be very high, and many departments that are
reorganizing to accommodate budget cuts need telephone
equipment moved or changed. Getting these service
requests processed as quickly as possible is a very high
priority, as telephone service is critical to providing
public service.
