HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 08171993 - 1.23 L� v 1,23 CONTRA COSTA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS Adopted this Resolution on August 17, 1993, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers, Smith, Bishop, McPeak and Torlakson NOES: None ABSENT: None RESOLUTION NO. 93/ 506 (Government Code § 25350) SUBJECT: Intention to Purchase Real Property for Contra Costa County Byron Airport A.P.N. 001-011-007 4875-6X5336 FAA-AIP Project #3-06-0008-07 Byron Area RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: It intends to purchase from Roy and J. Irene Wickline,for County Airport purposes, the real property described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made a part hereof, for $355,000, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Purchase Agreement between Contra Costa County and Roy and J. Irene Wickline, which is a fair and reasonable price therefor. A copy of said agreement is on file in the Public Works Department. This Board will meet on September 28, 1993, at 9:00 a.m. in the Board's Chambers, County Administration Building, Martinez, California, to consummate this purchase and the Clerk of this Board is DIRECTED to publish the following notice in the Contra Costa Times pursuant to Government Code Section 6063. NOTICE OF INTENTION TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County declares its intention to purchase from Roy and J. Irene Wickline, at a price of $355,000, the property known as Assessor's Parcel Number 001-011-007, being approximately 11 acres of land and house located at 6455 Armstrong Road, Byron, California and more particularly described in Resolution No. 93/ 506 of the Board and will meet at 9:00 a.m. on September 28, 1993, in its Chambers, County Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California, to consummate the purchase. Excepting therefrom: The interest of Contra Costa County in the west 25 feet of the premises, as described in the Deed recorded August 4, 1896, in Book 73 of Deeds, Page 154.
