RESOLUTION NO. 93/460
SUBJECT: Declaring Intent to Levy and Collect Assessments for the County Landscape
and Lighting District AD 1979-3 (LL-2), Contra Costa County Area,
Fiscal Year 1993-94.
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa resolves:
The Board of Supervisors declares its intention to levy and collect assessments within
the County Landscape and Lighting District, AD 1979-3 (LL-2), Contra Costa County,
California, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1993 and ending June 30, 1994.
The improvements to be maintained in the year beginning July 1, 1993 and ending
June 30, 1994, are described as follows:
The improvements to be funded through Landscaping and Lighting
Assessment District No. 1979-3 (LL-2), Contra Costa County, California,
consist of the installation,maintenance and servicing of landscaping, irrigation,
lighting (not street lighting except in special cases), park and recreational
related facilities with all appurtenances, and services of consultants as needed.
Zone 7 (Pleasant Hill/BARD - All lighting and landscaping features installed as a
part of the Redevelopment Agency.
Zone 40 California Sunrise)- This project consists of the installation of landscaping
and irrigation improvements such as water lines,sprinklers and plants along the north
side of Cypress Road fronting Tract 7365 in the Oakley Area.
Zone 41 (Oakley Area) Tract 7366 - Landscaping, irrigation and miscellaneous
facilities within the public right of way along 275 linear feet of the north side of Main
Street (State Route 4). The landscaping strip varies in width from three feet to eight
feet.
Zone 44 Laurel Heights) Tract 7667) - Landscaping, irrigation and miscellaneous
facilities within the public right of way along 660 linear feet of the south side of
Laurel Avenue east of O'Hara Avenue. The landscaping strip varies in width from
three feet to eight feet.
The Public Works Director,has filed with the Clerk of the Board, the Annual Report
required by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. This report contains a full and
detailed description of the improvements, the boundaries of the assessment district, and the
proposed assessments upon assessable lots and parcels of land within the assessment district.
The report has been approved by the Board of Supervisors and is open to public inspection.
