Whereas The Contra Costa County Aviation Advisory Committee expressed
interest in selecting a name with an aviation theme for the access road
to the west side of Buchanan Airport; and
Whereas The Public Works Director having recommended that SALLY
RIDE DRIVE is the most appropriate name for this roadway;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the recommendation of the Public
Works Directorlis hereby APPROVED and in the conformance with Section
971 of the California Streets and Highways Code, the road know as Terminal
Road is hereby named SALLY RIDE DRIVE beginning at the intersection of
Marsh Drive and extending easterly and northerly to its point of termination.
