single family residential homes and the area has a very rural feel.
The planning issues revolve around whether it is appropriate to
modify County policy to encourage a higher density in the area or
to attempt to maintain the existing residential character of the
area.
Due to the large numbers of units involved the need for EIR on this
project is clear. Staff should be given the option .of expanding
the amendment area, if desirable, to create a more logical
boundary.
