SUBJECT: Property Exchange
2086 Commerce Avenue
Concord Area
Project No. 4301-6G5372
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
Contra Costa County is the owner of the property,located at 2086 Commerce
Avenue, in Concord. It is in the County's best interest to exchange an existing driveway
access easement across the County property for another in a preferred location.
Estimated value of the easement conveyed does not exceed $10,000.
This Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the conveyance of a driveway
access easement, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, to Joseph L. and Elizabeth
J. Campbell, pursuant to Government Code Section 25526.5 and the Board Chair is
hereby AUTHORIZED to execute a Grant of Easement on behalf of the County. The Real
Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said easement to be delivered to the grantee.
In exchange for the easement referenced above, the Campbells have delivered to
Contra Costa County a Quitclaim Deed dated June 24, 1991, for the exchanged
easement asp'described in Exhibit"B" attached hereto. Said deed is ACCEPTED and the
County Real Property Division is DIRECTED to have said deed recorded in the Office of
the County Recorder.
This activity is not subject to the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to
Section 15061 (b)(3) of Chapter 3 of CEQA guidelines. It can be seen with certainty that
there is no possibility that the activity would have a significant affect in the environment.
