I. RECOMMENDATION
AUTHORIZE the Director of General Services, on behalf of the
County as lessee, and the Chairman of the Board of
Supervisors-, as Ex Officio Chairman of the Governing Board of
the Contra Cbsta County Fire Protection District as lessor , to
EXECUTE a Lease Termination Agreement for the premises at 3338
Mt. Diablo Boulevard, Lafayette, under the terms and
conditions more particularly set forth in said agreement.
II. FINANCIAL IMPACT
Occupancy costs will be saved in the budgets of the General
Services, Board of Supervisors and Building Inspection
Departments.
III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND
Termination of the lease was requested by both the
Supervisor, District 2 and Building Inspection as a cost
savings measure. The Fire Protection District agreed to the
termination.
