Bragdon Cur Director ty Director of Community Development DATE: August 22, 1990 SUBJECT: H.earing on Rezoning Application 12876-RZ to rezone 8.76 acres of land from General Agricultural District (A-2) and Neighborhood Business (N-B) to Single Family Residential District (R-20) , located at the southeast corner of Oakley and Neroly Roads, in the Oakley area, file by Bellecci & Associates (Applicants) and Paul Crantz and Neil and Evonne Sterud (Owners) (APN 041-080-001 and 002);. SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR C10`11,10[011DIONS(S)- & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION RECOMMENDATIONS 1. Accept the environmental documentation prepared for this project as being adequate. 2 . Approve Rezoning Application 12876-RZ as recommended by the East County Regional Planning Commission. 3. Adopt the East County Regional Planning commission's findings as set forth in Resolution No. 42-1990, as the determination for these actions. 4. Introduce the ordinance giving effect to the aforesaid rezoning, waive reading and set forth date for adoption of same. CONTINUED ON ATTACMCENT: YES SIGMA MEN RECOMMENDATION OF COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR RE66MIMDA47 OF COMMITTE APPROVE OTHER SIGNATURE(S) : ACTION OF BOARD ON September 12 , 1990 APPROVED AS RECOMMENDED OTHER This is the time heretofore noticed by the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors for hearing on the recommendation of the East County Regional Planning Commission on the request by Bellecci and Associates (applicants) and Paul Crantz and Neil and Evonne Sterud (owners) to rezone 8.76 acres of land from General Agricultural� District (A-2 ) and Neighborhood Business (NB) to Single Family Residential District (R-20) ( 2876-RZ) in the Oakley area. Mary Fleming, Community Development Department, presented the staff report on the request before the Board, advising of the General Plan designation for the site, the Negative Declaration completed for the project, the Planning Commission vote, and she commented on the staff recommendation to accept the environmental documentation as being adequate, approve Rezoning Application 2876-RZ, adopt the East County Regional Planning Commission' s findings, and introduce the ordinance. The public hearing was opened and no one appearing in opposition, the public hearing was closed. On recommendation of Supervisor Torlakson, recommendations 1, 2, 3, and 4 are APPROVED; and as in recommendation 4, Ordinance No. 90-80 is INTRODUCED, reading waived and September 25, 1990 is set for adoption of same.
