HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 09181990 - 1.26 ORDINANCE NO. 90 - 79 (Library Special Projects Director - Exempt) (Assistant County Librarian - Exempt) The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors ordains as follows (omitting the parenthetical footnotes from the official text of the enacted or amended provisions of the County Ordinance Code): SECTION I: Section 33-5.339 of the County Ordinance Code is amended to exclude the classes of library special projects director-exempt and assistant county librarian-exempt from the merit system to read: 33-5.339 Library. (a) Library special project directors-exempt are excluded and are appointed by the county administrator. (b) Assistant county librarians-exempt are excluded and are appointed by the county librarian. (c) Library student-assistants-exempt are excluded, and are appointed by the county librarian. (d) Library aids-exempt are excluded and are appointed by the county librarian. (Ord. 90- 79 , § 1, Ords. 90-68, § 1, 81-70, § 2, 81- 32 § I[15], 79-73: former § 32-2.634.) SECTION II: EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance becomes effective 30 days after passage, and within 15 days of passage shall be published once with the names of the supervisors voting for and against it in the Martines News Gazette a newspaper published in this County.
