I. RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Authorize the Executive Director, Contra Costa ; County Private
Industry Council, to execute on behalf of the County a Contract
Extension Agreement with Rehabilitation Services of Northern
California/Mt. Diablo Center (#19-7103-1), effective August 27, 1990
to extend the term of the contract from October 30, A990 to December
31, 1990 with no change in contract payment limit..
II. FINANCIAL IMPACT:
None 100 percent federal funds.
III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND:
By its Order of October 31, 1989, the Board authorized execution of
DTPA Title II-A 78% contract #19-7106-0 with Rehabilitation Services
of Northern California/Mt. Diablo Center to provide training for
twenty (20) participants as Interviewers (Customer: Service Clerks)
for the period November 1, 1989 to October 30, 1990.
By letter of August 8, 1990, Contractor requested enrollment, of an
additional five (5) participants to facilitate the ,training related
job placement of fifteen (15) participants.
