III. Reasons for Recommendations and Background:
Miranda Creek is unable to pass the 25 year storm discharge from its crossing with Erselia Trail
to a point approximately 1.50 feet downstream. This section of Miranda Creek is located in the
Alamo area. The Developer of Subdivision 7099 is discharging drainage into Miranda Creek at
Erselia Trail and is thus conditioned to perform creek improvement work. The Developer is
further conditioned to widen Erselia Trail. This affects the road culvert under Erselia Trail and
the immediate downstream section of, the creek. The District's participation. in the creek
improvement work ensures that additional flood protection is provided downstream of the
Developer's work at Erselia Trail.
IV. Consequences of Negative Action:
The project will not have sufficient land rights to allow construction.in- accordance with the
approved:plans and specifications.
