NOES: None. ABSENT: None. ABSTAIN: . None. SUBJECT: In the Matter of the Approval ) Resolution No. 83/1250 and Submittal of the 1984 TDA ) Grant Application for Bicycle ) and Pedestrian Pathways to ) Metropolitan Transportation ) Committee (MTC) ) Contra Costa County annually prepares and submits applications to Metropolitan Transportation Committee for bicycle and pedestrian path projects for consideration for funding under Section 3 of the Transportation Development Act. The projects, which require BOARD approval, are considered for priority through an established procedure involving the City/County Engineering Advisory Committee. The Public Works Director recommends that the following projects be submitted for funding consideration: 1. Bicycle Lanes - Manor Road between Appian Way and Hilltop Drive. In the E1 Sobrante area. 2. Pedestrian Path - Hilltop Drive between Manor Road and Park Central (Richmond City Limits) in the E1 Sobrante area. 3. Pedestrian Path - Ayers Road from Concord Boulevard to Laurel Drive, from Ayers Road to 1000' east. (Concord City Limit) in the Concord Area. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the BOARD hereby APPROVES the projects and AUTHORIZES the Public Works Director to submit them to Metropolitan Transportation Committee for 1984 funding consideration. 1 hereby certify that this is a true and correct copy of an action taken and entered on the minutes of the Board of Supervisors on the date shown.
