RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
It intends to purchase from the Moura Family Trust for County parkland and
recreational purposes, the real property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for
$434,000, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the purchase agreement
between the County of Contra Costa and Joseph and Anthony Moura, trustees, dated
August 9, 1990, which is a fair and reasonable price therefor. A copy of said agreement
is on file in the Public Works Department.
This Board will meet on September 18, 1990 at 9:00 a.m. in the Board's Chambers,
County Administration Building, Martinez, California, to consummate this purchase and
the Clerk of this Board is DIRECTED to publish the following notice in the Antioch
Daily Ledger pursuant to Government Code Section 6063:
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County declares its intention to
purchase from the Moura Family Trust, at a price of $434,000, approximately six acres
of vacant agricultural land located on O'Hara Avenue, south of Cypress Road in Oakley,
California and more particularly described In Resolution No. 90/_558 of the Board and will
meet at 9:00 a.m. on September 18, 1990, in its Chambers, County Administration
Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California, to consummate the purchase.

EXHIBIT "A"
Real property situate in Contra Costa County, State of California, described as follows:
A portion of the West 1/2 of the Southwest 1/a of Section 25, Township 2 North, Range 2
East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian described in that Quitclaim Deed from Manuel and
Antonia Moura, husband and wife to Manual and Antonia Moura, Trustees of the Moura
Revocable Living Trust recorded June 7, 1985 in Book 12351 of Official Records at page
832, records of said County and being that parcel of land in that certain Deed granted
to Manuel Moura and Antonia Moura as joint tenants recorded November 22, 1961 in
Book 4000 of Official Records at page 38, records of said County, described as follows:
Beginning on the west line of the southwest '/, of said Section 25 at the north line of that
parcel of land described in.the Deed from Harry A. Hobbs to John Alameda, et ux., dated
December 14, 1937, and recorded December 15, 1937, in Book 453 of Official Records
at page 79; thence from said Point of Beginning south 0018'00"west along said west line,
331.40 feet to the north line of the 1.05 acre parcel of land described in the Deed from
John Alameda, et ux., to the United States of America, dated December 29, 1937, and
recorded January 21, 1938, in Book 460 of Official Records at page 4; thence along said
north line as follows: north 89058'00" east 625.80 feet; thence easterly along a tangent
curve concave to the northwest having a radius of 65.00 feet through a central angle of
40°34'001, an arc distance of 46.02 feet; thence tangent to the last curve, north 49024'00"
east, 11.14 feet to the most westerly corner of that 2.23 acre parcel of land described in
said Deed to the United States of America (460 O.R.4); thence along the exterior line of
said 2.23 acre parcel as follows: north 49024'00" east, 284.87 feet; north 40036'00" west,
70.00 feet and north 49024'00" east 107.78 feet to the north line of said Alameda Parcel
(453 O.R. 79); thence along the north line of said parcel south 89°58'00" west 927.36 feet
to the Point of Beginning.
Containing an area of 6.168 acres of land, more or less.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM:
"A strip of land twenty-two and one-half (221/2) feet wide on the west side, for a roadway"
as reserved in the Deed from James O'Hara, et ux, to James L Cureton, dated January
23, 1903, and recorded February 7, 1903, in Volume 97 of Deeds at page 209.
Containing an area of 0.171 acres of land, more or less.
