Approve and authorize the County Probation Officer to execute on behalf of the County a contract with the City of Martinez for payment for services provided to the City of Martinez by the Juvenile Community Service Program for the period July 1, 1990 through June 30, 1991. FINANCIAL IMPACT: No County expense; revenue raising effort. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND: This contract is part of a continuing effort by our Juvenile Community Service Program to provide meaningful work for minors who have committed law violations and to generate revenue to .support the program. This is the same type of contract that is in effect with the East Bay Regional Park District, the City of Antioch and others. The City of Martinez has agreed to pay $115 per crew per day for this labor when provided. We .need this contract signed to formalize this agreement and authorize the billing for services rendered.
