Adopted this Order on July 31, 1990 by the following vote:

SUBJECT: Hearing On Rezoning Application 2862-RZ, Development Plan
3033-89 , and Subdivision 7364, Ferguson and Wollman and
Jacob and Mary Schley, In The Oakley Area.
This is the time heretofore noticed by the Clerk of the Board of
Supervisors for hearing on the recommendation of the East County
Regional Planning Commission on the request by Ferguson and Wollman
(applicants) and Jacob and Mary Schley (owners) ( 2862-RZ) to rezone 6
acres of land from General Agricultural District (A-2) to Planned Unit
District (P-1) , along with Final Development Plan 3033-89 for 22
Single Family units, and for approval of a Tentative Map for
Subdivision 7364 to subdivide 6 acres into 22 lots in the Oakley area.
Mary Fleming, Community Development Department, presented the
staff report on the proposal, describing the project site, the
negative declaration, and she commented on the East County Regional
Planning Commission approval. She advised of the staff recommendation
that the Board accept the environmental documentation as adequate,
approve the rezoning application, the development plan and the
subdivision, adopt the Planning Commission' s findings and introduce
the ordinance.
The public hearing was opened and the following persons appeared
to speak:
John Wollman, 200 Gregory Lane, Pleasant Hill, Ferguson and
Wollman, Inc. , applicant, spoke in favor of the project.
Julie Linder, 4775 Main Street, Oakley, expressed concerns on the
issue of the easement for Clearwood.
Sally Joaquin, Rt. 4, Box 7B, Oakley, expressed concerns on the
issue of the easement.
There being no further speakers, the public hearing was
concluded.
Supervisor Torlakson advised that meetings in his office were
necessary on this proposal to resolve the issues.
Supervisor Torlakson moved to defer the decision to August 14,
1990.
IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the decision on the above matter
is DEFERRED to August 14, 1990 Determination Calendar.
