Services DATE: July 18, 1990 SUBJECT: LEASE AMENDMENT AND LEASE RENEWAL - 815 COURT STREET, MARTINEZ SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION I . RECOMMENDED ACTION: AUTHORIZE the Director of General Services to EXECUTE, on behalf of the County, a Lease Amendment, commencing May 16 , 1990, and a Lease Renewal, commencing August 1, 1990 with the U. S. Postal Service for the premises at 815 Court Street, Martinez, for occupancy by the Sheriff-Coroner, under terms and conditions more particularly set forth in said Amendment and said Lease. II . FINANCIAL IMPACT: Payments required are to come from the Sheriff-Coroner Department budget. III . REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS/BACKGROUND: The Lease Amendment will provide a necessary increase in office space. The Lease Renewal will allow continued occupancy, as requested by the Sheriff-Coroner Department.
