execute a contract amendment with Richard Pearson & Associates.
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATIONS(-S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDATIONS
Authorize the Redevelopment Director or his designee to execute a
contract amendment with Richard Pearson & Associates for
acquisition relocation services related to the Park Regency project
(Area 3 ) in the Pleasant Hill BART Station Area.
FISCAL IMPACT
All costs associated with this contract are reimbursed by the
developer, as provided for in a Disposition and Development
Agreement (DDA) approved by the Agency on April 11, 1989.
BACKGROUND/REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS
The Redevelopment Agency has entered into a contract in the amount
of $75,000 for professional services associated with the
acquisition of property and relocation of residents and businesses
resulting from the development of the Park Regency multi-family
housing project. An additional $25, 000 in professional services
will be required to complete the necessary work. The developer
concurs with this contract adjustment, as required by the above
referenced DDA.
