SUBJECT: Amendment to Disposition and Development Agreement between the Contra
Costa County Redevelopment Agency and A.T.A.P. International , Inc.
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATIONS(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve an Amendment to the Disposition and Development Agreement
(DDA) between the Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency (Agency)
and A.T.A.P. International, Inc. (Developer) and authorize the
Executive Director or his designee to execute the Amendment.
FISCAL IMPACT
None.
BACKGROUND/REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS
On February 28, 1989, the Board and Agency approved the DDA between
the Agency and Developer. The subject of the DDA is the
development of seven (7) single-family homes in the North Richmond
Redevelopment Project Area.
Developer is presently negotiating with a lender for the
construction loan and the lender has asked that the DDA be amended
as it relates to the ability of the Agency to amend the DDA during
the time the construction loan is in place. The subject amendment,
still allows the Agency and Developer to amend the DDA, but
requires that this be subject to approval of the construction
lender so long as the construction loan is in place.
