SUBJECT: LEASE - 724 ESCOBAR STREET, MARTINEZ
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. RECOMMENDATION
AUTHORIZE the Director of General Services to EXECUTE, on
behalf of the County, a Lease with McMahon-Telfer Properties,
a Partnership, for the premises at 724 Escobar Street,
Martinez, for occupancy by the Superior Court, under the terms
and conditions more particularly set forth in said Lease.
II. FINANCIAL IMPACT
Payments required are to come from the budget of the General
Services Department.
III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS/BACKGROUND
Due to increased staffing and workload, the Superior Court
Family Court Services program has outgrown their current
office facility located at 928 Main Street, Martinez . This
building will meet the program requirements.
