I. Recommended Action:
ACCEPT Quitclaim Deed dated August 1, 1989 from Contra Costa
County.
II. Financial Impact:
None
III. Reasons for Recommendations and Background:
The quitclaim deed conveys the County's interest in Dis-
trict' s property, Fire Station #15, 3338 Mt. Diablo Blvd. ,
Lafayette, said interest having been incorrectly vested by
deed from the State of California to the County recorded
September 16, 1969, in Book 5962 at page 449 .

fifths vote as follows:

SUBJECT: Convey Surplus Property to
Contra Costa County Fire Protection District
Station #15
Project No. 7100-6X5515
Lafayette Area
The Board of Supervisors RESOLVES THAT:
Contra Costa County acquired certain real property from
the State of California for assemblage with the existing Contra
Costa County Fire Protection District Station #15 located at 3338
Mt. Diablo Boulevard, Lafayette. The deed was recorded September
16, 1969 in Book 5962 , page 449, Official Records. Said deed
incorrectly vested the. property, described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto, with Contra Costa County, not the District.
Said property is DETERMINED to be surplus and not
required for any County use, and, pursuant to Government Code
Section 25365, this Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the
conveyance of said surplus property to the Contra Costa County
Fire Protection District. The Board Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED
to execute a Quitclaim Deed on behalf of the County.
The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause the
Quitclaim Deed to be delivered to the Grantee.
I hereby certify that this is a true and correct copy of

Board of Supervisors on the date shown.

A portion of that parcel of land described in Deed No. 5111, to the State of
California, recorded August 2, 1954, in Volume 2357, Page 173, Official
Records of Contra Costa County, described as follows:
CaMMENCING at the southwesterly corner of said parcel; thence along the
general westerly line of said parcel, north 380 31' 07" west, 50.04 feet;
thence from a tangent that bears north 800 06' 46" east, along a curve to
the right, with a radius of 24,880 feet, through an angle of 00 10' 4811, an
arc length of 78.16 feet to the general southerly line of said parcel;
thence along last said line, south 410 08' 53" west, 69.65 feet to the point
of commencement.
CONTAINING 1,714 square feet, more or less.
There shall be no abutter's rights of access appurtenant to the above-
described real property in and to the adjacent State freeway.
The bearings and distances used in the above description are on the Califor-
nia Coordinate System, Zone 3. Multiply the above distances by 1.0000880 to
obtain ground level distances.
