SUBJECT: Lease - 606 FERRY STREET, MARTINEZ
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)8 BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. RECOMMENDATION
AUTHORIZE the Director of General Services to EXECUTE, on
behalf of the County, a Lease with John W. Telfer and Andrew
J. McMahon, Trustees under the Albin McMahon Family Trust
dated November 16 , 1972 , for the premises at 606 Ferry Street,
Martinez, for continued occupancy by the Health Services
Department, under the terms and conditions more particularly
set forth in said Lease.
II. FINANCIAL IMPACT
Payments required are to come from the budget of the Health
Services Department.
III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND
Provide for continued use of office space as requested by the
Health Services Department.

SUBJECT: LEASE - 904 MELLUS STREET, MARTINEZ
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)8 BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. RECOMMENDATION
AUTHORIZE the Director of General Services to EXECUTE, on
behalf of the County, a Lease with William M. Jordan and
Theresa A. Jordan for the premises at 904 Mellus Street,
Martinez, for occupancy by the Health Services Discovery
House I, under the terms and conditions more particularly set
forth in said Lease.
II. FINANCIAL IMPACT
The Discovery House Program has occupied 904 Mellus Street,
Martinez , for a number of years through a lease between the
Discovery Program Director and the owners. Since this is a
County-operated program, it was determined that the Lease
should be transferred to the County. There is no fiscal
impact.
III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS/BACKGROUND
Provide housing for Discovery House I as requested by the
Health Services Department.
