RECOMMENDED 4CTION Authorize Social Service Department Director or his designee to conduct contract negotiations and execute contracts with the following Title V Senior Employment Program host agencies for FY 1989-90. These contracts are funded through federal funds under the Title V of the Older Americans Act. FINANCIAL IMPACT County match for administration, enrollee wages and fringe benefits, and other enrollee costs, will total $22 , 476 which is included in the County Social Service Department's projected budget for FY 1989-90. III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND The Title V Senior Community Services Employment Program has been operated through the County Office on Aging since 1977. The Board of Supervisors on June 6, 1989 authorized the Director, Office on Aging to submit the Title V Grant Application for FY 1989-90. The grant generates $130,850 in Federal funds and it provides part-time employment for 25 low income seniors.
