Turner, Attorney, on behalf. of the owners of the Keller Maltby Hills Ranch property, advising that an agreement has been reached giving Boyd M. Olney, Jr. an option to purchase the property for a landfill disposal site. Supervisor Fanden submitted the. attached letter for the record. Mr. Olney: In connection with the forthcoming hearings be- fore the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County re- lating to the selection of a site for a landfill for dis- posal of garbage and refuse, you are hereby authorized to inform the Board of Supervisors that the landowners of the 1013± acres lying adjacent to and easterly of Bailey Road, being a part of the old C.H. Keller Maltby Hills Ranch, have a mutually agreeable and satisfactory agreement giv- ing . Boyd M. Olney, Jr. , the exclusive right an& option to purchase said 1013± acres for a site for a landfill for disposal of garbage and refuse, which option agreement will include provision giving the right and privilege of conducting the necessary soils, geological and, environ- mental tests and processing applications for a 'Ilandfill, upon such terms and conditions as are mutually;; agreeable to the undersigned landowners and to Olney as opt; onee. a In addition thereto, that as of thisl date, it appears there are no objections to the purchase price, terms and conditions for said option to purchase agree- ment, pending reducing , the mutually satisfactory and agreeable to option agreement to writing for purchase . of these lands .
