Recommended Action: APPROVE Agreement to Exchange Property and Property Exchange Credit Agreement, both dated September 13, 1988, with Central Contra Costa Sanitary District. ?. AUTHORIZE the Board Chair to execute said Agreements on behalf .of the County. II. Financial Impact: A future payment of $325, 000.00 from County funds which are 50% reimbursable from the State of California, or a possible exchange of property rights of a similar. value. III. Background: o, This segment (near Danville Boulevard andRudgear Road in Alamo) of the former Southern' Pacific right of way, which had reverted to the heirs of the original grantors, is being acquired by Central Contra Costa Sanitary ' District. They will reserve an easement for sanitary sewer:,' purposes and are willing to sell or exchange the fee title to this parcel to the County. V. Consequences of Negative Action: County will not have an uninterrupted corridor for future public uses and will not be able to take advantage of reimbursement of funds by the State of California.
