Staff has spot checked this portion of Port Chicago Highway
numerous times over the past several weeks and only an occasional
vehicle was observed parked along this portion of Port Chicago
Highway. There is no development fronting along this entire
portion of Port Chicago Highway. To enhance traffic safety,
staff agrees that it would be beneficial to prohibit parking on
Port Chicago Highway from Main Street to Nichols Road. The
posting of "No Parking" signs along this portion of Port Chicago
Highway should not present a hardship to the public.
IV. CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION
None known.
