Dear Mr. Snyder and Members:
The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors at its meeting today voted unani-
mously to ' ask your Board to continue its consideration .of Acme Fill Corpora-
tion's application for the expansion of the Acme landfill. The application is
scheduled. for consideration at your July 20, 1988, meeting. We support Acme's
request for a continuance to your August meeting. The additional time will
enable your Board, the U.S. Army Corps of -Engineers, and 'our Board to evaluate
Acme Fill Corporation's more recently submitted proposals for wetland mitigation
and enhancement. Some of the areas of particular interest to our County were
pointed out to your members during the July 6th and 11th field trips to the
landfill site. Supervisor Nancy Fanden will be present at your July 20th meet-
ing to represent the.Board of Supervis®RobertI
to your questions.
