OLSSON, Clerk Geraldine Russell , Deputy Clerk 0 0 3 IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of Continued Hearing on ) Proposal for Development of an Anti-Crime ) October 28, 1981 Platform for the County. ) Wednesday On October 26, 1981 the Board continued to this date its hearing on the development,of a comprehensive anti-crime platform for the County, and the following persons havjng appeared and presented testimony in connection therewith: Lorraine Rivers, Executive Director, Crime Prevention Committee of Contra Costa County; Gerald Cook, Member, E1 Sobrante Crime Prevention Committee; Diane Campbell , Member, Crime Prevention Committee of Contra Costa County; Dan Boatwright, Senator, 7th District; Eunice Wilkes, Crime Prevention Chairman, Fairmede-Hilltop Neighbor- hood Council of Richmond; Stephanie Mann, Consultant, Crime Prevention Committee; Joanne Killam, Vice-Chairperson, Delinquency Prevention Commission; Abe Irizarry, Vice-President, Delancey Street Foundation; Carol Kizziah, Project Manager, Correctional Facilities Master Plan, Criminal Justice Agency; Leonard K. Fick; and All persons desiring to speak having been heard, the Chairman DECLARED the public hearing on the development of an anti-crime platform for the County concluded and announced that a report containing specific recommendations will now be developed by Supervisors Tom Powers and Sunne W. McPeak, with assistance of the Criminal Justice Agency and County staff, for consideration by the Board. McPeak Supervisor Tom Torlakson ABSENT: Supervisor Nancy C. Fanden Supervisor Robert I. Schroder CLERK: J. R. Olsson, represented by Geraldine Russell, Deputy Clerk Supervisor Fanden arrived at 9:25 a.m. and was present for the balance of the morning. Following lunch break, Supervisors McPeak and Powers were the only two Board members in attendance. 0 0 - 1.
